Krystal Trickey
Bachelor of Arts (Honours) | Master of Development Practice (Community Development and Social Planning) (Current) Consultant Background With expertise in community development and social planning, Krystal brings a range of analytical and technical skills to her position at First Person Consulting. She has worked on research and evaluation projects within community development, health promotion, gender and international development. Krystal is especially interested in non-linear and nuanced social change within the community context, including how these qualities can be captured within the practice of evaluation. Past employment Prior to her position at First Person Consulting, Krystal worked in research, advocacy, community development, education and the arts. She is a well-rounded individual with a broad knowledge-base and the ability to relate to a diverse cross-section of the community. Krystals' recent projects include:
Qualifications Krystal has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy and English from La Trobe University. She is currently undertaking a Master of Development Practice (Community Development and Social Planning) at the University of Queensland, where she is completing a thesis applying an organic-ecological, phenomenological approach to community development theory and practice. The thesis applies qualitative research methods to unearth the interrelationship between conceptual frameworks and practice. |
