Welcome to the First Person Consulting Pty Ltd ("FPC", "we", "us", or "our") website. By accessing or using our website at www.fpconsulting.com.au, purchasing our products, registering for our workshops or events, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

2. About Our Services

FPC provides consulting services in evaluation, systems thinking, research, and design. We also offer:

Professional development workshops and training programs
Educational products (including the Catalyst card game)
Free resources and publications
Podcasts (The It Depends Podcast, The Systems Sandbox)

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio, video, publications, resources, and software, is the property of First Person Consulting Pty Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

Free Resources: Our free downloadable resources (such as the Problems to Possibilities Canvas) are licensed under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 4.0. You may share and adapt these materials for non-commercial purposes, provided you give appropriate credit to FPC and distribute any derivative works under the same licence.

Products: Products purchased from FPC (such as the Catalyst card game) are for personal or organisational use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our products without written permission.

Podcasts: Our podcast content is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to episodes but may not redistribute the audio files.

4. Product Purchases

When purchasing products through our online store:

Pricing: All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

Payment: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

Shipping: Physical products are shipped within Australia. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs (for international orders, if applicable).

Returns and Refunds: If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion. We do not accept returns for change of mind on physical products that have been opened or used. Refund requests should be directed to [email protected].

5. Workshop and Event Registration

When registering for FPC workshops, training programs, or events:

Registration: Registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation by Participant:

More than 14 days before the event: Full refund (an administration fee may apply)
7–14 days before the event: 50% refund
Less than 7 days before the event: No refund, but you may transfer your registration to another person

Cancellation by FPC: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to insufficient enrolments, facilitator illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a full refund or transfer to an alternative date.

Substitutions: You may substitute another participant from your organisation at any time by notifying us in writing.

Photography and Recording: We may photograph or record workshops for promotional purposes. Please advise us if you do not wish to be included.

6. Consulting Services

Consulting engagements are governed by separate agreements and proposals provided to clients. These Terms of Use apply to general website use and do not override specific contractual arrangements.

7. Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:

Use the website for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the website
Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
