A two-minute systems thinking warm-up game
The Pig Model
One thing can mean completely different things depending on who is looking. A pig is food to a wolf, income to a farmer, inspiration to a poet, a patient to a vet. Same pig, four realities.
How it works
Four views on one thing
- We drop a thing in the middle and four observers around it.
- For each observer, write what they would see it as.
- Look across the four — how differently does the same thing read?
- Reshuffle for a new mix, or download your finished sheet.

Now sit with it
Look across the four
- What surprised you?
- Whose view feels closest to your own?
- Who is missing from the circle?
- If you swapped the thing in the middle, what would change?
