Tatjana Pohl
Bachelor of International Studies | Diploma of Languages (German) | Master of International Relations Associate Consultant Background With a strong interest in power relations, human rights and gender issues, Tatjana is passionate about empowering others through her work. Since being introduced to evaluation, Tatjana has worked on a range of projects in the areas of public health and social justice. Throughout her professional career Tatjana has emphasised being organised, adept at setting and following clear project management processes, and prioritises building rapport with clients and beneficiaries. Past employment Prior to joining First Person Consulting, Tatjana worked as a Research Analyst at Clear Horizon Consulting, where she was introduced to monitoring and evaluation. Situated in the Social Justice team, she worked on projects that focused on access to employment and workers' rights, mental health, community wellbeing, and disability. Previous to that, Tatjana was the Junior Policy Officer at the Harmony Alliance: Migrant and Refugee Women for Change, one of the six National Women's Alliances. This gave her first hand experience working with grassroots women's and multicultural organisations, and with women from migrant and refugee backgrounds. Tatjana's recent projects include:
Qualifications In 2017, Tatjana completed a Masters in International Relations from the Australian National University. She also holds a Bachelor in International Studies with a minor in politics and a Diploma of Languages (German) from the University of Adelaide. Through her tertiary studies, Tatjana was exposed to a wide range of subject areas including political philosophy and ethics, international and national security, human rights, and post-colonial Australian history. |
